The Office of Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) is a leading international partnership practicing contemporary architecture, urbanism, and cultural analysis. One of the most influential architectural institutions and architects of this century. Simon Brown and Jon Link were invited to art direct an inventory of seven years of Rem Koolhaas’s tireless labor, a predecessor to SMLXL (designed by Bruce Mau) and Delirious New York. The subsequent book, Content, is attributed with influencing a generation of architects and architectural books.
"I was really lucky to get the authors, Simon Brown and Jon Link, and their willingness
to work so closely in our offices and create [the book] in a deliberately selfless way."
Rem Koolhaas, Principal OMA/AMO
